A perfect day

Random.
Early morning.
Before the cock crows.

Reflection,
Sipping on bitter tea,
Glancing across the olive mountain,

Gazing across the sea.

Pen to paper,
Novel thoughts.
An outline is in place.

All he needs to do now is write,
He plunges the pen into the pot,
Dries the nib,

And writes.

A shorter story.
Brief thoughts.
The outline is in place.

This story unfolds;
As he plunges into it,
Dries the words,

And writes.

Time,
Study,
Christ!

Becomes the subject,
But the thoughts
Are not yet clarified.

Evolve the study of words,
Deeds,
Ministry begins.

Feature of the day
...thinking...
The deadline,

Rushed thoughts
Like the waves across the sea.
An issue is raised,

Querulously noted,
Submerged, submissively
Submitted.

Wait.

Afternoon autumn sun
Warms the room,
Pen to paper,

Novel thoughts
Collect,
He plunges the pen into its pot,

Dries it, and writes.

Returns to theories,
Structured, clandestine formations
Words,

Semiotically expressed

Evening encroaches,
Day has ended.

Perfect...
